How to make Amarena cherry cake

The video shows how he makes his signature Amarena Cake with Lazaya Amarena cherries. The video allows us to follow this master dessert chef step by step:

  • Begin with a melted chocolate base in a big mould
  • Place whole Amarena cherries on top of the melted chocolate
  • Pour another layer of chocolate over the cherries to cover them; leave to set
  • Make a sponge cake mixture and pour into small, individual moulds
  • Cut the Amarena cherry set chocolate into individual slices and place on top of the sponge cake mixture in the individual moulds
  • Bake
  • Remove from the oven and cover with a thin layer of chocolate and then begin decorating the individual cakes
  • As a final touch, add three candied Amarena cherries on top of each cake and some shavings of pistachio nuts.
